Time of Eve

My comments:
Time of Eve started out as episodes.  Now there's the movie which has the same story, but it goes more in depth with the background so there's new scenes, too.

Summary:
Two high school boys grapple with their own humanity in a world where people are serviced by androids distinguished from their masters only by the halo-like rings above their heads. Public mores, enforced by the shadowy Robot Ethics Committee, dictate that androids be treated like appliances, and those who empathize with their robots are branded as "android-holics." Rikuo and his childhood pal Masaki find their assumptions about androids radically challenged when they come across Time of EVE, a cafe where androids and people are treated as equals. Liberated from the strictures of the Ethics Committee, Masaki and Rikuo must confront old wounds of betrayal and grief, and are faced with decisions that put their friendship and families on the line. - iTunes

Brave New World

Summary:

Huxley throws the idea of utopia into reverse, presenting us what is known as the "dystopian" novel. Huxley's bleak future prophesized in Brave New World was a capitalist civilization in which people are scientifically and psychologically engineered to be passive and useful to the ruling class. Reproduction is controlled through genetic engineering, and people are bred into a rigid class system. As they mature, they are conditioned to be happy with the roles that society has created for them. The rest of their lives are devoted to the pursuit of pleasure through sex, recreational sports, the getting and having of material possessions, and taking a drug called Soma. Concepts such as family, freedom, love, and culture are considered grotesque.
Against this backdrop, a young man known as John the Savage is brought to London from the remote desert of New Mexico. Ultimately, John challenges the basic premise of this society in an act that threatens and fascinates its citizens. - (from book description)

Art of Pole Dancing

Pole dancing is not just stripping. It can be an art or sport, but it'll take society a while to accept this due to the stereotypical connotations linked to exotic strip clubs. With that in mind, I'd like to first share this video with Whoopi Goldberg & Barbara Streissand introducing the world to this idea with an Asian female pole dancer champion as their guest performance:

The following are pole dancing videos that I found very entertaining. There is even a MALE POLE DANCER in my list below! Unfortunately, most dancers at strip clubs don't put on such artistic performances. However, there are sometimes strippers that do come close and you can only see it at a strip club which is why once a blue moon I like to sit and watch at a strip club. (No, you won't see me dancing in one. You wish! I just don't have the muscles for it.)

With this next one, you can tell by her movements that she's incorporating gymnastics into this:

The following is the male dancer (NO, IT WON'T BE DISGUSTING for you gay homo-phobes! He does it in a stage play sorta way.), but with male genitals in the way there are some limitations as you'll see here:

By each dancer's moves, you can tell what their dance background is whether it's jazz, ballet, gymnastic, or modern dance because that is the form of dance that they usually weave into the pole dancing.
